It's been a little while since our last update and that's because this is a BIG one, folks, and it's all about the user experience!

We're rolling out some major improvements to the functionality & smoothness of the app in addition to several bug fixes and some really nice quality of life features!

Profile changes & additions

Let's dig into it by looking at the image on the left. First off, verified users will now have a symbol over their profile picture to help showcase they are verified for their role. Secondly, your favorites have now been split up into Games & Teams to allow you to more easily look through and adjust them and also give other users an easier way to browse your profile and learn about ya!

If you look at the bottom of the left image, you'll notice we've given you a nice big floating yellow share profile button so you can make sure to let your followers on other social media know where they can find you on Juked! Now how about the RIGHT image...

On the right, you'll see all of our settings additions! You can now find buttons in your settings to join our Discord server as well as the ability to visit our Frequently Asked Questions page (FAQ). In addition, we've also added a security screen with an email field which you can navigate to via the settings.

Major performance improvement via GQL upgrade

Juked's infrastructure has been swapped over to GraphQL and that means performance gains! These performance improvements include but are not limited to:

  • Faster load times for the feed
  • Fixed duplicating feed issue some users were experiencing when scrolling far down the feed
  • Issues regarding feed scrolling & post jumping when scrolling solved
  • Sluggishness for Android users and freezes for iOS should be solved as part of this upgrade as well

Added “Block User” option to post and comment action modals

As seen in the image below, you will now be able to block users via their posts, comments, and replies.

Changed profile / post author arrangement

Tweaked profile image UI within posts, comments, and profile page.

Bug Fixes:

  • Search results on Android only including 1 or 2 results
  • Add tag screen should now properly show up

What's next?

So. Much.

And the best part? We already have a major update on the horizon, and yes this time it's the one we just told you about!
